Adult Visual Impairment Friendly Rowing Sessions This session supports adults with a Visual impairment to learn how fixed seat rowing in a fun and supportive environment. Participants will row in a wooden gig or skiff which are designed for sea rowing, thus are very stable. There will a coach / instructor running each session, and sighted volunteers in each boat to guide participants if needed and describe surroundings. The sessions involves some time orientating around the oar and boat and practising a good stroke for the first 20 minutes; then participants will row up Bristol Harbour which flows through the heart of the city.It costs £6 per person and runs every Sunday from 11AM to 1PM.
