Wellbeing in Nature Online sessions – from WildPace WildPace offer these online wellbeing in nature sessions to enjoy the benefits that nature connection brings us. Nature connection relaxes and restores us, boosting wellbeing and improving our resilience, mood and feelings.Each week we look at what we love about nature, share what inspires us and take a short guided video walk, connecting to the season, wildlife and natural events.During these sessions we engage with the 5 pathways to nature connectedness – contact with the senses, noticing the emotions nature brings, noticing nature’s beauty, the meaning nature brings us and our compassion for nature.There’s an invitation to some nature-based mindfulness, just spending a little time being present in our senses. This which is shown to have a strong and lasting beneficial effect in activating our connectedness.Other activites may include a “bring and share” based on natural objects, nature-based creativies or crafts and book and film recommendations.Who?The sessions are primarily for people who have less access to nature perhaps for social, economic, physical or other reasons, coupled with a desire to improve wellbeing.Values and character of sessionsThe sessions are a place to have a break from everyday life and to relax and enjoy a sense of community based on our shared experiences and joy of nature and are a kind and caring space.When and where?These 1 ½ hour sessions are on a Thursday morning 10am to 11.30amI will send instructions well in advance when you book your session so you know how to join.Fees and bookingFees are on a pay as you can basis on a sliding scale starting from £6.00 per session. Book a session by selecting dates below. Numbers are usually restricted to 10 per session. You can book as many sessions as you wish to, there is no upper or lower limit.
