With a staff team focused on delivering a positive and person-centred experience for everyone staying at the service, it’s no surprise that people who come to stay once end up becoming repeat visitors.At Fairburn, we work hard to offer people a stimulating and supportive short break that allows the continuity of everyday life to be maintained. We work in partnership with the people we support and their families to plan support that encourages development of daily living skills and offers a taste of independent living – while leaving plenty of time for activities and fun!Importantly, our short breaks allow parents and carers to take time off from their caring role, comfortable in the knowledge that their loved one is in good hands, and with the reassurance that an update need only be a phone call – or even a quick visit – away.
