Celestine Centre; Home adaptation show house The Celestine Centre is a fully adapted property located in Yate, South Gloucestershire. The house has a variety of adaptations in a true home setting and is available for South Gloucestershire Residents to visit and to try out the various adaptations.Items and equipment at the house include –· A through floor lift· A Stairlift· Automatic wash dry toilet· Bidet toilet· Fully adapted kitchen with high/low counter units/accessible cupboards etc· Assistive Technology and traditional Telecare· A fixed ceiling track Hoist, and mobile Hoisting equipment· A bathing lift and Bathing Cushion· A level access shower installation· A shower pod· Modular Steps and Ramping· Fully automated door entry system· Some Home living aids to try outThe Celestine Centre· Can be used by Occupational Therapists to carry out full assessments for their clients, minimising the likelihood of inappropriate adaptations being installed.· Can be used by south Gloucestershire residents to see and try aids and adaptations that they can install in their own home.· To offer practical advice and information on products and suppliers.The house is available by appointment only Monday to Friday.
