It is then explained that they can have a box every week for 2 weeks while we work with them to make sure they are linked to the right services.On the second week we try to find out a little more about their situation. If we feel after 2 weeks that they still require food we are able to extent the time period . All our food in the boxes is ambient and long life but is picked so that meals can be made out of it. As we also have food from Waitrose on a Wednesday and Asda on a Tuesday so people can come along and supplement what they receive daily as this is available to the whole community.
