Avon Gorge & Downs Wildlife Project The Avon Gorge & Downs Wildlife Project was launched in 1999. We were originally set up to secure the outstanding wildlife interest of the Bristol side of the Avon Gorge and Clifton and Durdham Downs and to raise awareness and understanding of this unique location and its importance for people and wildlife. We are also working in partnership with the National Trust and Forestry England who manage Leigh Woods on the North Somerset side of the Gorge. For information about wildlife, education sessions, events and reporting wildlife sightings on the Bristol side of the Avon Gorge, Clifton and Durdham Down, contact:Vanessa AdnittAvon Gorge & Downs Biodiversity Education OfficerThe Education Department, Bristol Zoo Gardens, Clifton, Bristol, BS8 3HA.Telephone: 0117 903 0609E: vadnitt@bristolzoo.org.ukFor information about the day-to-day running of the Downs and management on the Bristol side of the Gorge, contact:Ben SkuseArea supervisor Downs, Blaise, Kingsweston estatesDowns Rangers office, Clifton DownTelephone: 01179736210E-mail: ben.skuse@bristol.gov.uk We're sorry but <%= htmlWebpackPlugin.options.title %> doesn't work properly without JavaScript enabled.
